Slowed and reverb is an audio effect when a song is played a little slower and layered with reverb so it feels more spacious, hazy and emotional. It has become a popular internet remix style that many people have come across on YouTube and TikTok. If you’re interested in the origin of the sound, Pitchfork has a good piece on how slowed + reverb remixes took off. Using this tool, you can quickly make a slowed and reverb edit of your own by uploading a track, slowing it down, and adding reverb until it lands where you want.
Upload your audio file, change speed and reverb settings, preview your resulting audio file, and download it if it sounds good. You can use it as a slowed and reverb maker, slowed reverb converter, and simply as a browser audio editor.

Yes, it can! Nightcore is a genre of music where the pitch and tempo of a song are increased, giving it a faster, more energetic feel. To create a Nightcore effect using this tool, simply increase the speed and reduce the reverb. We recommend setting the speed to approximately 1.3x and the reverb to 0%. Play around with the settings until you find the perfect balance that matches your style.
Definitely. Daycore is basically the opposite of nightcore: instead of speeding a song up, you slow it down and usually lower the pitch to make it feel heavier, darker, or more emotional. For a daycore-style result, we suggest the speed be set to around 0.7x to 0.8x and low to moderate reverb, and if you’ve got pitch controls, lower the pitch a bit too. Experiment with it a little bit from there because the best settings really depend on the track.
Indeed, you can. While lo-fi music is generally warmer, softer and a notch less polished, applying slowed + reverb treatment can get you close enough. We recommend slowing the track down to about 0.85x to 0.95x to create a more lo-fi sounding edit. Keep the reverb moderate (avoid huge reverb) and stop before the vocals get too washed out. A little goes a long way.
We support WAV, MP3, AAC, OGG, and FLAC formats. If you’ve got something else, you might need to convert it first. The file size limit is 500 MB per upload and unlimited on our paid-tier plan.
